Personal Protection

Inside The Home

(National Rifle Association)

Description

Unlike the other basic courses, the Personal Protection course covers defensive shooting. Self-defense & firearms training is distinct from standard shooting fundamentals; covering mindset, legal issues, decision making under pressure, and planning for the worst. The Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course is designed around the use of the defensive pistol. Although the course can be completed in as quickly as eight hours, the amount of information presented, probability of intensive question and answer dialogue on perspective topics usually pushes the course out to ten hours.

Course Goal

To develop the students basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding citizen's right to self defense.

Course Instructor

All coursework presented through Tactical Recovery Network are taught by state certified & highly qualified law enforcement instructors with over ten years experience in their perspective fields. Our training division is committed to bringing out the best in their students regardless of their experience level.
